Suicide at attorney’s office.

A kitchen, knife, and toilet…

There’s a really interesting story behind this video:

We did this job where a client of an attorney got in an argument or something and he killed somebody. He went to his attorney’s office to talk to him about it, about whether he should turn himself in or what. That type of situation.

They talked a little bit more and the client said he needed to use the restroom. He got up to go to the restroom, and when he went by their little kitchen area, he grabbed a knife.

You can see right here where he sat on the toilet and just cut his own throat. I guess that’s one of those situations where maybe he was just drinking and lost his temper and killed somebody. But whatever the circumstances were, he obviously felt terrible about what he had done. And he was obviously also very scared of the whole legal system and being charged with homicide and and being executed. So it’s a bloody mess.

And this particular job here, the tile was loose in the floor, so of course, the blood went underneath the toilet. Toilet had to come out, tile had to come out. The things you don’t think about when you see a crime scene in a movie is just how much deconstruction has to be done. But strange stuff happens, you know. And unfortunately, you know that traumatized the attorney. That traumatized everybody in the attorney’s office.

So that was actually a pretty selfish act. But people are strange.
